It’s easy to wake up with a mind busy, and ready to go. I’ve been guilty of that more often than I’d prefer to admit. That go, get it done, mentality made me feel anxious, overwhelmed, stressed and exhausted. I’d been letting life lead me instead of me leading life.

The Lord brought two things to mind, the poem, “The Difference”, the song, “I miss my time with you.” Each speaks of having our times in our own hands and forgetting God. Psalm 31:15 reminds us, our times are in his hands. Psalm 90:12 offers sobriety in numbering our days in a way that is led by wisdom towards more wisdom.

More often than not we rush off into our day, dragging God behind instead of walking behind his leading. God reminds us, our strength comes from Him. This time in life is his gift and for his purposes. Therefore, it is in him that we acquire the capacity to handle it without drowing in our to-do list. Can it be managed without putting God first and all up in it? Yes! Yet, we will live the consequences. Can you point to yours? I recognize mine. Usually depression.

Letting God lead through what He‘s started is the emotional, physical and mental best bet. It sets us aright in every way possible.

Yes, we will still hit a wall of exhaustion in life, even if God is leading. Only because we live in human bodies and they are wearing down. But there’s an inexplicable strength that comes.

Every moment in our day we get to choose to get “Gas” from the Premier Tank. The price is already paid for those who belong to the “Gas station Owner.” Premium Unleaded runs ”the machine” our bodies, in all parts, cleaner and more efficient.

Just think God doesn‘t force us to make use of the resources he’s given to his Children. Yet, we feel the depletion of empty tanks so much more if we bypass his Station.
