Unbiblical Judgement

Matthew 7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

This verse is quite interesting and indicative of our Culture today and reveals our guilt. As Politicians pontificate about the sins of the wealthy, they, continue to gain wealth and languish in their own sins. As the common everyday person agrees with the Politicians by seeing the rich as greedy, they forget to examine themselves. They neglect to look through the perspective of truly impoverished countries. In countries where poverty doesn't come with a cell phone or a government stipend, even homeless people collect bi-monthly in America. Even those "unwilling" to work. Think about the wealth of that!

People are so quick to think themselves innocent when it comes to greed, yet we reveal we have the same shame in our judging. Maybe a true evaluation will turn us back to the ideal of America, where we wished others well. And we stop and realize those possibilities are ours too. Instead of making wrong judgments and being victims, we take advantage of what God has allowed our country to stand for and go after it. We will never be equal in our prosperity. We are not all equal in our gifts and talents in Christ. But we are all one Nation, and those in Christ, One Body.

We must remember not only does the Word of God reveal our guilt and ask us to turn from Sin to Righteousness. But the very things we hate about others may themselves be a mirror for examination. Just give it a thought.

Have a godly day! 1 Corinthians 15:58
